A well-established and highly regarded boutique law firm in North Bay is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their litigation team. We are looking for a civil litigation attorney with 3-7 years of experience to handle a diverse range of matters from start to finish, including business, property, employment disputes, personal injury and other litigation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing complex litigation matters, from initial filing through trial and resolution. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals and gain exposure to a variety of cases while continuing to grow in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all stages of civil litigation, including case preparation, discovery, depositions, and trial work.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, focusing on achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop case strategies and best practices.
  • Stay informed of current legal developments and best practices in civil litigation.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present cases effectively in court and communicate with clients.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
